Crypto.com has launched a new suite of tokenized derivatives that track 1,500 U.S. equities and exchange-traded funds. Eligible users in the European Economic Area and other approved markets can access products linked to stocks including Apple, Nvidia and Tesla, as well as ETFs such as SPDR Gold Shares and iShares Silver Trust. Positions start at $1 and can be traded around the clock.
Crypto.com’s tokenized stock derivatives are derivative products issued by Foris Capital CY Limited that reference the price of underlying U.S. stocks or exchange-traded funds. “The products are derivatives issued by Foris Capital CY Limited that reference the price of the underlying stocks or ETFs.” The products are structured to provide synthetic exposure to those underlying securities without transferring legal or beneficial ownership to holders. “if Apple shares rise, the corresponding product is designed to follow that move, but its holder doesn’t become an Apple shareholder.”
Holders of these derivatives do not receive voting rights or other shareholder privileges associated with the referenced equities. “That means investors don’t gain legal or beneficial ownership of the underlying securities and don’t receive voting or other shareholder rights.” The underlying assets supporting the products are held with U.S. broker-dealer Alpaca. Crypto.com acquired Foris Capital in May 2025; Foris secured a MiFID license to offer regulated financial products in Europe.
Crypto.com is ranked the world’s 11th largest exchange, according to CoinGecko. Tokenized stocks have reached about $2.49 billion in value, representing roughly a 600% increase over the past year. Citi estimated that tokenized securities could grow into a $5.5 trillion market by 2030, including $2.6 trillion in tokenized equities. The valuation and forecast figures were reported in coverage of the tokenized securities market.
Other platforms have launched tokenized equity products for investors outside the U.S., including Kraken, Bybit, Bitget and Robinhood. Market infrastructure providers have initiated tokenization work, with DTCC beginning tests of tokenized securities infrastructure and both Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange unveiling tokenization initiatives. Regulators and industry participants are paying increasing attention as tokenized securities move closer to the financial mainstream. These developments were noted alongside reporting on Crypto.com’s tokenized derivatives and the broader tokenization trend in financial markets globally. The reporting included market valuations and forecasts.
Crypto.com’s launch of tokenized stock derivatives extends its tokenized derivatives offerings into regulated markets and coincides with growing regulatory and infrastructure attention to tokenized securities.
The move contributes to the evolving tokenized securities landscape noted in industry reporting and aligns with concurrent adoption by other platforms and infrastructure tests by market participants.
